Hello:)
In our last R&P class, we learned how to use the Google presentation for the first time. I had always used Power Point and had never even thought of using something else to create a presentation.
After watching the C.R.A.P videos last time and learning how to create attractive slides, it was pretty easy for me to make slides this time. I made sure to bring pictures that are closely related to the topic on each slides, and tried to lessen words as possible. I also thought about the alignment on my first title page. I have had made numerous slides before for presentations, however, I never really thought about making it easier for the listeners to listen them. Therefore, the C.R.A.P lecture really helped me to actually care about how the slides will be viewed instead of making a creative one that just attracts the audience and entertains them. I now know the importance of the actual oral presentation that I am required to give instead of just presenting a visual.
Also, this time it made it easier for me to create slides since I was able to see my group members` slides. After seeing them it did give me more ideas on how to improve my own and the comments also helped. I originally had more than 1 word per slide but after seeing Saho and Saki`s slides I realised that it is much more easier to see as an visual with less words. therefore I changed it. I don't know why but I couldn't comment on Tsubasa`s slides... Thank you!! I will now go work on thinking about the words to speakJ
